Jimmy Ginn - Student Ministries Pastor
I was born in Columbus, GA but was raised in Alabama. I attended SUSCC for a time in Opelike, AL then gained my credentials with the Assemblies of God through Global University. I have had the privelege of being a youth pastor since 2004. My deepest desire in life is to please God, and with that I sincerely desire to see people live for Jesus. My wife, Brooke, and I were married in 2009, and now we have our first child, James Parker, who was born in April 2014. We have a special place in our hearts for students and want every young person to know and be loved by Jesus. My wife and I have decided that we will use every gift and talent we have for The Kingdom. We are very excited to be a part of the First Assembly family and blessed to be the Student Ministries Pastors at Apex.
Brooke Ginn - Administrative Assistant to Student Ministries
I grew up in Montgomery, AL and was raised in a Christian home. When I was 17 years old The Lord called me into full-time ministry at youth camp. I still remember the very spot at Camp Springville where He spoke to me. Through the years, no matter where I went or what I did, I could never escape that calling. I went into youth when I was 12 and I've never left. I began as a student, moved into student leadership, and then went into full-time ministy. I married Pastor Jimmy in 2009 when I was 29 years old. And we've served in student ministry, and various ministry roles, ever since. God gave me a vision years ago of something bigger than myself. And I believe a huge role of that vision is Apex Student Ministries. We also have a son, James Parker, who was born in April 2014. I am excited for him to gorw up in student ministry, which is where I think the most awesome people on the planet are. Another passion of mine is fitness. I have the privelege to work as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at the Opelika SportsPlex and also through Opelika CrossFit. I am very blessed and thankful where the Lord has brought me thus far.
Michelle Stewart - XK Director
Glenda Lyerla - Pastor’s Secretary
I was born and raised in Phenix City, AL. I have been a Christian all of my life. My father was a minister and actually started First Assembly of God in 1935. I never dreamed that I would be working at the church my father planted so many years ago. I love my job and I have been here since 1992.
I met my husband, Victor, in 1954 and we were married in 1958. God brought us together and has kept us together for 57 years. We have three children and 8 grandchildren. As I have traveled through my life, the Lord has proven Jeremiah 29:11 to me. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Susan Littleton - Administrative Assistant
I was born and raised in a Christian home where the Word of God and prayer filled each day. My father was a Pastor and minister of the Gospel through radio. His deep love for the body of Christ influenced my life and planted the desire to be involved in the ministry of the church. I have been married to the love of my life, Darron Littleton, since 1988. We have 3 children. After our very first visit in 2003, we made First Assembly our church home. We felt we belonged from the very first service we attended. We thank the Lord for bringing us here and allowing us to belong to such a wonderful body of believers. I love working at church. I love being able to go to work everyday in a Christian environment. I’m thankful to work with other believers that share the same passion and goal of serving the Lord.
Anna Allen - Business Administrator
I was born and raised in a Christian home in North Carolina. My entire family was deeply involved in the church. My father and brother were pastors. I have been in church my entire life and was saved at the age of 10. In 1983 I married James Allen, the man of my dreams, the one that God created for me. We have one daughter named Ashley who serves God with a passion. I worked in the corporate world for over 30 years and count it such a blessing to now serve this great church as Business Administrator. My favorite verse is John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not parish but have everlasting life”.
